Crystal Ann Irvin Obituary. Amarillo, TX
Amarillo bids farewell to one of its own, Crystal Ann Irvin, who passed away on April 8, 2026, at the age of 74. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, located at 2800 Paramount. Arrangements are under the care of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Born on June 22, 1951, in La Junta, Colorado, to Lloyd “Jack” and Diane Harder, Crystal was a true Amarillo local. She grew up here, attending Travis Junior High and Palo Duro High School. Her spirit, however, was one of adventure. She cherished travel, making homes in California, Hawaii, and Washington, among other locales.

Crystal found joy in life’s simple pleasures: hunting for treasures at garage sales and doting on her beloved dogs, Ciddabay and Scarlet. For many years, she served the community with a warm smile as a waitress at local favorites like K-Bob’s, Country Barn, and the Iron Skillet, retiring from Macaroni Joe’s.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Irvin of Rodeo, CA. Crystal’s legacy of love continues through her son, Dennis Paul Brice (Sabine) of Huntersville, NC; her brother, Theodore Harder (Teresa) of Elkhart, KS; sisters Tanya Clark (Paul) and Delaine Wallace, both of Amarillo; and many cherished nieces, nephews, and their children. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
